Q: What are your store hours?

A: Store hours vary by location.  All stores have a limited schedule on Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve and are closed all of Christmas Day.

Q: How do I find specials at my local store?

A: You will find savings throughout our store with our everyday low prices.  For additional savings look for ourTemporary Price Reductions, indicated by a green tag, or in-store specials.  We also accept coupons (restrictions apply, check our Coupon Policy for details).  Visit the Savings TAB of our website for in-store specials and coupons.

Q: How do I apply for a job?

Q: Where can I buy a Rancho San Miguel Markets gift card?

A: Gift Cards are available in the check stands at all of our locations and make a great gift for any occasion.  Gift Cards may be purchased for any denomination from $5-$500.  California State Laws regarding Gift Cards apply.

Q:  Where can I use my Rancho San Miguel Markets gift Card?

A:  Please visit the Store Locator section of our website for participating locations.  You may also use your gift card at participating Food 4 Less locations.  Please visit myfood4less.com for participating locations.

Q: Can I return an item that I am not satisfied with?

A:   Yes.  Please bring in the unused portion of the product, original packaging and original receipt, at your earliest convenience.  This will allow us to determine how to best resolve the issue.

Q: What do I do if I find an error on my receipt? For example, I was charged for too many items.

A: Return to the store at your earliest convenience, with your receipt, and ask for a Front End Manager.

Q: Can I return a perishable item?

A: Yes. You may return your perishable item if the product does not meet quality standards.  Please bring the original packaging, as much of the product as possible and the original receipt.  We will do our best to ensure customer satisfaction.

Q: Can I return Alcohol or Tobacco products?

A:  These items may be returned at the discretion of the Store Director.  Each individual situation will be assessed. California State Laws apply.

Q: Do you need a membership to shop at Rancho San Miguel Markets?

A: No!  There is no club card and no membership needed; just everyday low prices.

Q: Do you have electric carts available for customers with a disability, are elderly or have injuries?

A: Yes, each of our locations provides electric carts for our customer’s convenience. These carts are available on a first come, first serve basis and can be found at the inside of the entrance area.

Q: Can I bring my pet into the store?

A: Rancho San Miguel Markets allow service animals inside the store, any other animal is not allowed.

Q: Do you take WIC or Food Stamps as a form of payment?

A: Yes, Rancho San Miguel Markets gladly welcome WIC and EBT (Food Stamps) transactions as forms of payment.


Q: How I can be added to your mailing list?

A: Rancho San Miguel Markets mail out a weekly circular packed with additional savings.  If you would like to make sure you are receiving our weekly circulars, please register online and you will receive the circular right to your email inbox.

Q: Do Rancho San Miguel Markets offer online coupons?

A: Yes! Visit the Coupon section of our website for current offers.

Q: What is your coupon policy?

A: Rancho San Miguel Markets gladly accept manufacturers’ coupons where all of the following apply:

Manufacturers’ Coupons

• Free product coupons (except those printed from the Internet)
• Buy one; get one free (BOGO) coupons
• Must have “Manufacturer Coupon” printed on them
• Must have a valid expiration date
• Must have a scannable bar code
• One coupon per item
• Restrictions and requirements listed on the coupon are met. This includes but is not limited to: quantities (minimum required and maximum allowed), sizes, brand names, product variety, expiration dates, and store location
• Soft drink container caps

Internet Coupons

• Must be legible
• Must have “Manufacturer Coupon” printed on them
• Must have a valid remit address for the manufacturer
• Must have a valid expiration date
• Must have a scannable bar code
• Buy one, get one free (BOGO) coupons with a specified price
• May not be duplicated

Guidelines and Limitations

• Rancho San Miguel Markets do not double or triple coupons; if a coupon has been used with an item, no other coupon may be used with that item and no other item may benefit from that coupon.
• Rancho San Miguel Markets only accept coupons for merchandise that we sell
• Coupons must be presented at the time of purchase
• Only one coupon per item
• Item purchased must be identical to the description on the coupon (size, quantity, brand, flavor, color, etc.)
• There is no limit on the number of coupons that may be used per transaction
• SNAP items purchased in a SNAP transaction are ineligible for cash back
• WIC items purchased in a WIC transaction are applied to the basket purchase and
  may not be eligible for cash back. Refer to state-specific WIC guidelines
• Rancho San Miguel Markets stores have the right to reject coupons that have an altered or torn expiration date
• Rancho San Miguel Markets stores will not accept coupons that have been duplicated, appear blurry or altered in anyway
• Rancho San Miguel Markets stores will not accept competitors coupons
• Rancho San Miguel Markets does not accept internet competitor’s coupons.
• Coupons are to be accepted for their intended purpose and may not be accepted or exchanged for cash
• Coupons cannot be purchased, sold or transferred
• Customers are responsible for all sales tax and CRV

We do not accept the following coupons:

• Rancho San Miguel Markets stores do not accept competitor’s coupons.
• Coupons that do not scan properly.
• No cash back for coupons with a higher value than the items’ purchase price.
• Internet coupons that do not require a purchase, “Free”
• Internet coupons with a redemption value exceeding $6.00
• Rancho San Miguel Markets do not accept electronic coupons.
• No photocopied or visibly altered coupons
• Rancho San Miguel Markets stores will not accept checkout coupons

Rancho San Miguel Markets reserve the right to deny any coupon at any time.


Q: Do Rancho San Miguel Markets accept credit cards?

A: We gladly accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover, cash, checks (that comply with our Check Writing Policy), debit cards, WIC* and EBT transactions as forms of payment at all of our locations.


Q: Can I use a check to pay for my purchase?

A: Rancho San Miguel Markets gladly accept personal checks for the purchase of merchandise upon the condition that our Check Writing Policy guidelines are met.

Q: What are the requirements for writing a check at Rancho San Miguel Markets?

A: 

  1. Customer must have a valid California Driver’s License
  2. Check must be for exact amount of purchase
  3. Customer must provide a home and work/alternate phone number
  4. Check must have customers printed physical address
  5. Check must have customers name pre-printed
  6. Travelers checks are accepted with a minimum of 80% of purchase


Q: What types of checks are not accepted at Rancho San Miguel Markets?

  • Government Checks

Q: Can I write a check over the total amount?

A: Checks are limited to the amount of the purchase.

Q: I received a letter/phone call regarding my check bouncing at one of your locations, how do I resolve this issue?

A: Please visit the store nearest you and ask for a front end manager prior to the COLLECTION DATE stated on correspondence.  They can assist you with making a payment and resolving the issue.

Q: Do you sell money orders or offer other money services?

A: Yes.  Western Unions Money Services are available at all Rancho San Miguel Markets.

Q: What types of Western Unions Services do you offer?

Q: Is there an ATM inside the store?

A: Yes, an ATM machine is conveniently located at all Rancho San Miguel Markets.  Service fees apply.

Q: I’m a vendor, how can I schedule a meeting with a Rancho San Miguel Markets buyer to discuss my product?

A: Please complete a Customer Comment Form and a team member will contact you, to schedule a meeting, if the product described is a fit for our stores.

Q: I would like to setup a sales table in front of your store or in your parking lot to solicit my product?(Examples: cookies, popcorn, event tickets, personal care products, services, etc.)

A:  Rancho San Miguel Markets abide by a strict No Solicitation Policy that covers all of our locations, parking lots and all property owned, managed or operated by our company.  This policy is set in place to protect our customers, staff and visitors from unwanted solicitations.  No exceptions.


Q: Why can’t I get a price over the phone or via email?

A: In order to ensure that our prices are the best in town, we price check our competition weekly and sometimes adjust prices daily!  Due to this, our prices are subject to change at any time therefore we are not able to provide prices over the phone or via email.

Q: How can I apply for a donation or sponsorship?

A: Visit the Community section of our website for restrictions and details.

Q:  Where can I find information about product recalls?

A: Rancho San Miguel Markets are committed to your safety.  From time to time there are government recalls of products and we want to quickly and conveniently share the details with you.  If such an occasion occurs, you’ll find additional details in the Recall section of our website.

Q: Do you have a commitment to a Cage-Free egg supply chain?

A: PAQ, Inc. Cage-Free Goal by 2025

PAQ Inc. plans to transition to a 100 percent Cage-Free egg supply chain, based on availability and affordability by 2025. All retail banners of PAQ, Inc. will be covered by this commitment, Food 4 Less, Rancho San Miguel Markets, Times Supermarkets and Big Save Markets.
